Philip Troha, 89 of Many, Louisiana died on Sunday, August 9, 2009, at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many, Louisiana.
Born Tuesday, May 25, 1920 in Winnsboro, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Frank Troha and the late Francis Zagar Troha.
He was a Veteran of World War II.
Surviving are sons, Phil Troha & wife Carolyn of Arlington, TX, Gary Troha & wife Cindy of Shreveport, LA and Joe Troha & wife Carole of Many, LA, daughter, Debro Brosh & husband Scott of Arlington, TX, sisters, Mary Poye of Baskin, LA and Agnes Brownell of Winnsboro, LA; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at St John Catholic Church, with Father Joe Martina and Deacon Mike Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in St John Cemetery, Many, LA.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be Gabe Troha, Robert Troha, Jeff Troha, Jason Troha, Larry Hataway, Colin Troha, Barney Key and Jeb Key.
